> Executive charged with molest
Nov 10, 2009 A MANAGING executive was charged in court on Tuesday with molesting a woman at a pedestrian crossing.
Edison Yeong Weng Yew, 32, allegedly pinched the left buttocks of the 30-year-old housewife at the traffic controlled pedestrian crossing between Tampines Mall and Tampines MRT Station on Aug 24 last year.
He is represented by Mr Sunil Sudheesan, who will be making representations.
If convicted, he faces a jail term of up to two years or fine or caning or with any combination of the punishments.
A pre-trial conference will be held on Nov 23.
