Nov 3, 2009 A MAN was charged in court on Tuesday with posing as a police officer to invite a woman to have sex with him.
Ricky Lau Eng Hung, 41, is alleged to have committed the offence in September 2007.
He allegedly informed another woman that there were impending raids on prostitutes in the Geylang area.
He was represented by Mr Ronald Ng.
If convicted, he faces a jail term of up to two years or a fine or both on each charge.
A pre-trial conference is scheduled for Dec 10.
