> Charged with raping teen

KLANG: A 27-year-old technician was charged at the Sessions Court yesterday with raping a 15-year-old girl on four occasions.

Eddie Jamaluddin claimed trial to committing the offences at:

- No. 5 Sekinchan Hotel, No.7 Site 6 in Sekinchan at 4.30pm on April 29;

- In a Proton Gen2 car parked along a road in Sungai Panjang in Sabak Bernam at 4.30pm on April 14 and April 16; and;

- In the same car parked at a oil palm plantation in Parit 9, Sungai Panjang at 3.45pm on April 21.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Nurul Maisarah Kamal proposed bail of RM40,000 in one surety for all the charges.

Judge Datuk Anita Harun granted Eddie RM10,000 bail in one surety and warned him not to harass the victim.

She fixed Sept 9 for mention.
