SUBANG JAYA: A woman was found dead, stabbed in the chest and with her neck slashed, at a recreational park in Tasik Subang here.

Police believe her assailant may have also tried to rape her, as the woman’s pants had been pulled down.

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Zainal Rashid said a jogger found the body at about 6.45pm yesterday and alerted police.

He said the woman, believed to be in her 20s, had been dead for about 48 hours before the body was recovered.

“However, police did not find any identification documents on her body or at the scene,” he said, adding that the victim could have known the assailant.

He said the body had been sent to Serdang Hospital, and advised anyone whose family member had gone missing to lodge a report at the nearest police station.

THE father of the three siblings, who were killed in a road accident in Muar, had actually wanted to donate their organs to save other people’s lives, reported Sin Chew Daily.

However, the wish of Chen Ji Qiang could not be carried out because of the “time factor” as his children’s bodies had been lying too long in the mortuary after the accident that occurred at 6.30pm on Saturday.

When he told the hospital authorities about his intention, Chen said the reply he got was “It’s too late.”

He added that he was disappointed when being told that the organs could no longer be harvested for patients waiting for transplants.

The three siblings – Jun Liang, 11, Jun Hwa, 10, Jun Hwee, four, – together with a relative Wong Yui Yang, seven, and the maid, Kasmi, 23, were killed when the car they were in and a truck collided along the Pagoh–Parit Sulong road.
